To have expectations one needs to

believe 

in the reliability of others and

do not 

assume 

reliability

from

others.

Others 

are unreliable. 

Humans 

are unreliable.

I 

am unreliable.

Expectations imply dependence.

I am not a woman who enjoys dependence.

Independence

is uncomfortable but

when dependence is taken out from under 

you

you

feel 

bitter 

towards dependence and

independence

is

all

you have 

left.

I take small comfort in knowing that the

only

thing certain in life is that

life

is

uncertain

and when this is applied to

humans,

knowing

it is

not

really

a

comfort.
